Ted Denton studied at Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri where he earned both a BSE and MA in Art Education. After a rewarding career as an art teacher, Ted felt the time was right to change his devotion from an art educator to that of an artist. Over the past few years Ted has grown into his own style with an inspiring direction.

2016 “Merit Award” winner at the Mid-Missouri Artists Spring Art Show / Juror: Sarah Nguyen, art Instructor at the University of Central Missouri, Warrensburg, MO.
2016 One piece accepted into the 20th Annual Heartland Artist Exhibition / Juror, Donna Yeager, She is an award winning artist, and a well-respected art instructor, participating in national and international art competitions. She also has served as a juror for many art competitions.
2015 St. Louis Artists' Guild's exhibit "Elements of Abstraction" / Juror, Claire Ashley, works as Adjunct Associate Professor of Contemporary Practices, Drawing and Painting at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
